When will our photos appear?

Photos stay sealed until the capsule's end time. Everyone in the capsule opens the album after the reveal. The owner cannot reveal photos early.

Availability can vary by build and platform while Fern is in prerelease.

An invitation will not open

Check that you are signed into the account the invitation was intended for. If a link is no longer available, ask the sender to check the invitation before trying again.

If you need help, describe the error without forwarding the invitation token or private album link.

A photo is not uploading

Photos can be contributed only while the capsule is active. Check your connection and photo-library permissions, then follow the upload status shown in the app. A pending upload is not confirmation that a photo has been contributed.

Tell us what happened

• Your app version, phone model, and iOS or Android version.
• The action you tried, what you expected, and what happened.
• An approximate time and any redacted error message.
